One of the best coffeehouses in town and not for its coffee. Beans are roasted in house and the standard house brews are decent. Not bad coffee all, but what makes CD so great are the people and the space. It feels homey and classic Café. Also, the patio is great to hang, read, drink some tea or eat a grilled sandwich. Caffeine will always be one of my favorite spots in town.

Great place to relax, and they roast their own beans, so you know they mean it! (Roasting days are a little loud, but still interesting to watch the process.)

Love Love this place. My Daughter owns Bean & Tree coffee shop in Portland Oregon, (my favorite place) she would love this place too! So if you can go to Portland I highly recommend Caffeine Dreams, its a very cool little shop with delicious coffee, great food, and a comfortable atmosphere. Not another place like it around these parts~

Great atmosphere. Very eclectic and cozy, making it a good place to study or read. Coffee is pretty good as well as its selection. I think they usually change it from day to day. Food is limited and nothing to rave about. I do like their scones though. They don't over sweeten them like most others. Definitely recommend stopping by this place. Very unique.

The most authentic coffee shop in Omaha. The patio in the back is surrounded by trees, and no matter how hot the weather is you can sit under the shade of trees and enjoy your coffee. Baristas are very friendly. Coffee mugs are pretty.

Delicious coffee, lots of vegan baked goods, I didn't have a problem with the service like others are saying. Really cool old building too!

Positives: The coffee is the best you can find... Organic, Fair Trade, and fresh roasted. The prices are affordable... Great internet speed/connectivity The people are generally nice. They're open late, which is definitely needed. There is plenty of parking and good location overall. Negatives: Too small Hardly ever any available seating Often long waits in line due to food orders Often run out of in-house coffee and takes a long time to refill They close due to personal parties randomly and have to find other places to go As much as I enjoy the coffee here, I've all but stopped coming (as well as a large number of people I know as well). We all seem to have the same issue with trying to come here, which is that there's never any seating and due to how poor the table set up is, few people ultimately can occupy the space at one time. It's small, overcrowded, and there's not enough seating for their primary customers. We've all had to resolve to finding other places to go...although it's been a challenge as everywhere in Omaha has it's serious issues. The reality is there are no truly great coffee shops in Omaha...they all either have issues with either the quality of coffee, slow wifi, no parking, close too early, or never have anywhere to sit. There isn't anyone I know that doesn't complain about not having a place they can go to and return to everyday. There is definitely room for a better shop to open up if they can address these issues... Ideally Caffeine Dreams could address the serious issues customers have had for a long time now... expand, relocate, or attempt to reorganize the way the seating functions. However, as this isn't likely to happen any time in the near seems myself and those I know have to continue to find alternatives to what would otherwise be a great shop. **If you're a morning or afternoon coffee drinker~ it's a great place for you! If however, you're an evening/late night worker and student (like most of their customers). It will not be the best place for you, as you'll be hard pressed to find any space here to sit and drink your coffee or work.

I propose that Caffeine Dreams initiates an exchange program with QT. QT has subpar coffee but irrepressibly friendly employees. Conversely, Caffeine Dreams has outstanding coffee but relentlessly unfriendly employees. In this exchange program, QT employees would learn to make coffee with multiple ingredients (one of them not being "coffee mix"), while Caffeine Dreams employees would learn how to smile, engage in polite chit-chat, and become conversant with typical Nebraskan greetings and farewells such as "Hi."
