Exploring 21st century learning spaces with Iolani School

Today at 5 p.m. on +Bytemarks Cafe on Hawaii Public Radio (HPR2 89.3FM), after our weekly roundup of local sci-tech headlines, +Burt Lum and I will have a brief chat with Gail Haraguchi from the City & County of Honolulu to discuss Saturday's Honolulu Answers Write-a-Thon.

Then, our main discussion will focus on building the future of schools. We'll be joined by Dr. Timothy Cottrell, the newly appointed headmaster of Iolani School, and dean of instruction +Carey Inouye to talk about their ambitious plans for the new Sullivan Center, a new facility scheduled to open in the Fall of 2013.

What should the classroom of tomorrow look like? What do you need in a physical space, and how could it interact with virtual spaces? We'd love your comments and questions as part of the conversation, so feel free to comment below, or -- even better -- listen live and call in at (808) 941-3689.
