EDRM invites organizations to subscribe to its voluntary Model Code of Conduct.

Interesting +LinkedIn feature: Received the following e-mail today:

"Paul, we noticed you haven't visited [Some Linkedin Group] lately. To help keep your email tidy, we've switched you from daily emails to weekly digests from this group - we hope this suits you better!"

My first reaction was that this did suit me better and that this was a very cool feature of LinkedIn. But I could also see how many people would prefer to be passive participants of groups through their e-mail and would be annoyed to have their group-digest settings automatically changed and have to go to the LinkedIn group to change them back. There doesn't seem to be any way to change the settings of LinkedIn to turn this feature off.

For me it is a useful feature, but it would be more useful if you could opt out of it.

If you're the CFO of a publicly traded company, best not to tweet about your company's sensitive information, and, no: "the Securities and Exchange Commission 'does not consider tweets to be public disclosure for the purposes of filing communications.'”

Interesting beta software that claims to offer real-time, collaboration-preserving encryption for Google Docs, with seamless key exchange. Only works with Firefox.

Another reason for me not to use Google Drive's desktop client at this time. +Syncdocs now allows me to synchronize multiple Google Drives CONCURRENTLY.
