The hawthorn blossom and little white stitchwort are at their best in the Allen Valleys at the moment and the glorious bird cherry is just fading, but there is some great planting and displays at the caravans. I love this appealing fellow.

Splitty Lane walk, Catton. Just under 3 miles from Allendale Caravan Park. On footpath and minor public road. Three seats around the walk to enjoy the lovely views of the East Allen valley.
