Koi fish in the koi pond and swim bladder disease

We’ve had a hot go of July this year. My plants are holding up pretty good though and my koi pond is a hot bed of activity. I had a run in with swim bladder disease and I want to tell you about it. I’ve introduced new babies! I was fortunate to receive 5…

Wow, what beautiful scenery you've shared with us all through your time up there! I also can't get over how much you walk! I need to do some of that, but our humidity seems as bad as Orlando's and that's my excuse ;) I have to find out more about this dive bombing crow attack! Your posts are always fun Gail.

Just a quick post this evening. I’ve got a painting on my easel that, to me, has a carnival like feeling to it. It started out a lot different, but I can’t find a shot of it. I actually painted pretty much over everything that was there before. I was…

On Friday, I painted three swimming koi fish on an upcycled plastic patio table top that I’ve had sitting around for a couple years. The table top is for cover for the koi fish. I’ve wanted to paint it for the whole winter, but it was just too dang cold…

Funk in the City Haynie's Corner weekend

Did you do anything fun over the weekend? I actually went to Haynie’s Corner for an art show, Funk in the City, and I wasn’t “in” it! Rarely does that happen. Mainly because there aren’t many art shows around here that I don’t show in. (There aren’t many…
