It started really snowing again here at the house. So far I've heard two branches break free. (Lucky, we don't have any branches really close to our house)
This afternoon I also checked on the generator and got the downstairs gas fireplace all prepped. With gas heat and gas water heater, we can hide out in the downstairs quite comfortably if we do lose power.

- Collllld in La Conner, but no snow since last night. Good to have multiple heat-source backups (including tromping down to the boat and firing up the woodstove if needed!)Jan 19, 2012
- Well hopefully the predictions are correct and it will start warming up tomorrow morning. I'm not a big fan of frozen water and I'm getting a little tired of being stuck. :-)Jan 20, 2012
- It stopped dropping frozen water of all kinds several hours ago. It is just cold now. We have probably 6 to 7 seven inches of snow and at least one frozen layer in there. I tried to clean off the FJ this afternoon and gave up after 20 minutes, the layer of ice on it was maybe 1/4 inch thick.
Right now I need some sun and warmer temperatures.....Jan 20, 2012 - Go checkout the new post. Couldn't figure out how to attach the pictures to this one....Jan 20, 2012
