- Author, Journalist, Writer, present
I'm a Contributing Editor at The Atlantic, a Contributor to Scientific American, and a Consulting Editor at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. I've previous been a consulting editor and collaborator at Johns Hopkins Medicine International and McGill University, among other academic medical centers. I've written five books, the most recent being WRONG: Why Experts Fail Us. I'm currently focused on obesity and health-related behavior change, and on improving healthy options in processed food. I'm also interested in the challenges of medical research, as per my article in the Atlantic about John Ioannidis, and WRONG. And I'm interested in improving healthcare systems in non-fully industrialized countries.
