Below average experience. Cramped space, confusing setup, and the food was at best average. My meat was too salty and just reminded me of meat loaf. I found a baby cockroach in my water glass. It was quite small, but I am sure it was a cockroach. Didn't even get an apology from the staff when I alerted them of this. One thing nice about the place? The art. It was a nice distraction from the overwhelming mediocrity and sewer insect in my drink.

I use to love going to this restaurant for several reasons: The beautiful artwork, the convenient location, and the complimentary appetizer of delicious pita, tzatziki and hummus. Their gyros and salads are good and their service is marginal. The last time I was there, the cloth napkins were dirty (as if they had been reused). This little detail (lack of attention to the service provided to patrons) was enough for me to seek out another Greek restaurant in Tucson.

I stopped to have lunch and it was a horrible experience from beginning to end. When I first arrived I was accosted by a women begging for money because she had been evicted from her home and her young child was hungry. Once inside I waited for a table for about 5 minutes and once seated a appetizer platter of pita bread with cucumber and hummus and tzatziki dip. It was very good. I waited another 15 minutes and the waitress came and took my drink order. I don't know if she was tired but her attitude and facial expressions were lacking interest in providing average wait service. After taking my order for a Gyro platter, I never saw the waitress again. A woman who I had not seen previously, brought my food, set it down and immediately turned around and left. When I looked at my plate, I was confused because my "gyro" was wrapped in a tortilla! I thought surely this is another customers platter. I waited for 10 minutes to flag someone down and ask about my platter but never got anyone's attention. At this point, I was hungry and tired of waiting and proceeded to eat the meat and forget the tortilla. The food had decent enough flavor and I finished off the platter. After thirty minutes of waiting for my check, I finally got up to pay my bill and the person that assisted me was none other than my disappearing waitress. She made a unenthusiastic attempt to tell me she was just about to bring my check. I got my change, walked out and thankfully was not accosted by a beggar. I will NEVER return to this business and others should avoid this place. Horrible!

I am a single diner and was just refused service because I requested a booth and was told no. The booths seat four and they wanted me to sit at a table for two!! Which was by the way, was against the window where the sun was directly hitting (4:45 p.m.). I walked over to Old Chicago and had a very good chicken salad... seated in a booth!!

I bought ten coupons, at $10 each, for $20 off dinner for two. I have used five of them. The food is reasonably good. I used to think it was very good. The drop in perceived quality I'm certain has to do with the remarkably stupid, boorish people they have waiting tables. Madre! It should be on television! At this point, there have certainly been enough customer complaints that the owners/management are fully aware of the circus of bimbo boneheads they employ. I have decided to give away the remaining coupons. It's simply not worth the grief! I will take my business to Fronimo's from now on.

I had a good experience, it was packed. Which means the food is Good. The Gyro pita, pasta, chicken wrap and chx lemon soup we had were really good. I'am definitely coming back.

The food was pretty good, TERRIBLE services. I don't think the food was good enough to overlook the service. We had a waitress that proceeded to chat with her friend at a table sitting right next to us for a good 10-15 minutes holding a pitcher of water, while the whole time looking at my glass that was empty (oh yeah, then the water pitcher became too heavy so she had to set it down at that table). The wait for a table was terrible, then once you get a table, the wait for someone to even give you the time of their day is even longer. I feel like I'm begging for food, and not paying for it when I go there. Yes the food was good, but you feel like you've been given a huge privilege just to eat there and I'm not sure I ever want to go back. Are the owners too big of a push over to fire bad staff??? I still have a groupon, but the thought of wasting 2 hours just for lunch is too much. Not going there ever again!

I've wanted to like this place for years as it is close to my workplace. The food is delicious, the lunch specials are very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. Time and time again I have placed orders for gyros asking for no onions. Not once, once, have they accomplished this task. Their ability to welcome and seat a patron in a timely manner leaves much to be desired. Their wait staff have trouble executing the task of seating, getting drink orders, and taking a meal order from customers every time. I watch the cook staff while waiting, always too long, for a take out order and they move like amateurs and always without apparent haste. The feel like amateurs. I often have tried to call in to place a lunch order and every time had to call back after receiving a message machine multiple times to reach a person. Always, the order is not ready when stated and I have to wait far too long for some pre-cooked lamb with tomatoes and tzatziki sauce piled on a pita. If they could get their service up to par with their food quality I would be so pleased.
