I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it was amazing. I ordered my "Thai spicy" and they did just that for me. We ordered the cheapest Pino Nior on the menu which was $65 and tasted like the bottle had been open for a week (yes, we paid for the bottle but never saw him open it). I am torn on this review because the food was so good, but the wine was so bad. I got sick about an hour after this meal as did my husband and the only item that we shared, was the wine.

Although the atmosphere was pleasant, both the service and food are definitely not up to the Wynn standard. The BBQ Duck was served cold and it was fairly dry, which was surprising, as duck is a fairly moist and greasy bird, normally. After being ignored for nearly 15 minutes, I flagged down a server and explained the issue. I was then approached by the GM who then explained, in a condescending manner, that the duck was not supposed to be served hot and that I shouldn't have waited so long to tell the server. I was then charged for the brown rice I ordered as a side (and didn't eat). Afterwards, I called the GM form my room and explained how her condescending attitude was very off-putting. She continued to use phrases like, "I'm REALLLLYYY sorry about your food.", with an pronounced emphasis and slurring on the 'really', which again, was extremely disrespectful. It's unfortunate - both the service and food were top notch previously - hopefully, a regime change will allow Wazuzu to become the restaurant it once was,

Wazuzu is located in Encore although you can walk to it from the Wynn without going outside. It is focused mostly on Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisines. I had the Drunken Noodles and it did have a nice balance between spicy and slightly sweet flavors. I enjoyed it but it was not the amazing, go out of your way dish I anticipated based on the "Best Thing I Ever Ate" accolade. I would definitely order it again and the portion size is nice; I only had the Drunken Noodles and tea and I was full. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I were slightly more "drunken." The crystal dragon on the wall is quite amazing and extends almost half the length of the restaurant.

excellent pan-asian cuisine. unfortunately, the restaraunt is set wide open to the casino floor, so your view consists of slots and gawking passerbys.

Really lovely food - was suprised at how tastey the food was, so much so we cancelled one reservation to come back here again before the end of the trip. For me, its more of a lunch place or casual dinner. Worth a visit.
