Having taken a few hours to try and wrap my head around ipv6 at a basic level, it has become very clear that I will need many many many more hours to make much sense of it at all.

Take an hour of time and learn to appreciate why I fumble to carry all my groceries by hand in an attempt to not take the bags they endlessly pack our stuff in.
It's borderline insanity that we still produce as much plastic as we do.

Progress at the new space feels unbearably slow some days and then blistering fast on others. http://www.flickr.com/photos/47126591@N05/6497209475/in/set-72157628234047611/lightbox/

My G+ feed is now just a wash of hangout notices, I don't expect it to deviate from that in the next while, either.

Hackerspace Grand Opening is over and done with, now we get to take some time off, then get back at it. Keep the progress going!

And then to top it off, you need to have Mr Lee Cat Cam's on the collars of the kitties.

I feel that I often just move books in the library around, much as I think I'm organizing and sorting them.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel has wonderful staff, very friendly. The rooms do leave things to be desired. The lighting inside isn't great and they certainly haven't been updated in a while. One of our rooms had a space heater, as the wall unit was seemingly broken. The other room's wall unit wouldn't ever cycle off. The beds were clean and smoking rooms were available. Breakfast was very simple but better than nothing. The halls are narrow and short, the place feels like an oilfield work camp of the same vintage. If you need somewhere to sleep, this is a fine option, if you're hoping for a hotel with more amenities, you might look elsewhere. We stayed at this location in Feb, 2013.
