Don't be scared away by the inevitable line outside. This place is most certainly worth waiting for. Everything we tried was so delicious. It is super small so it may be better to grab your grub and find a spot close by to eat. Just make some time and try it out already!

We were visiting seattle for the July 4th weekend, and b'coz of the hype for this place, went to check it outon the 4th and on Sunday. Both The times, the place closed around 4.30ish... Although the store hours were till later. Whatever !!! Didn't get to try it but it's okay,am glad didn't give business to somebody who sets hours as they want.

Hi Sun shi, We apologize for the inconvenience during your visit! We made the announcement about our revised store hours during the 4th of July weekend on our Facebook and Twitter. Just so you know, we closed early that weekend due to the extreme heat in combination with our ovens, which becomes a safety hazard for our employees inside the bakery where temperatures can reach over 100°F. We take your feedback seriously and will use this as an example of why we need to make sure our customers and visitors are informed. -Piroshky Piroshky

I dare you to walk by and smell these Piroshkys without stopping in. They are so delicious and the perfect food for walking around downtown or exploring the market. The main problem is the line. I highly recommend not going on the weekend or during meal time. Also keep an eye out and see what they have just taken out of the oven so you can request a fresh one. These are a must have

Nice and quick. Only stood in line for 5min at most. Needs a bit more filling, i found them to have a little too much breading.

You know a place is good at pikes where theres a ridiculous line, in the sun, that everyone doesnt mind standing in line for. This place has a lot of options for different bread items and they all look really good. I got the salmon one, which is their famous pastry thing and it was really good! Comes out hot and fresh, with smoked salmon inside. The line is very long at times, but it moves fairly quickly. The staff is fast and friendly, gives good suggestions on what to order as well. They take credit cards too!

Warm, Flaky, Yummy and oh so gooey good! This Russian pastry shop has it all! Be warned though, the line out the door can be long. Try to get there when they first open, but trust me, the wait is well worth it for both the sweet and the meaty goodness!

This establishment is definitely a Seattle classic. On a sunny day, you will always find a line, but they tend to move through it pretty quickly! They serve the most delicious pastries filled with even more delicious combinations. The salmon pate piroshky is my favorite! The is my favorite lunch to have on a rainy day in Seattle.

Many great options to choose from, both savory and sweet. Most of the time you'll wait 10-15 minutes in line, but you won't be disappointed. I always get the ones with cheese.
