Spacious brewpub with signature beers like Capital Kolsch, plus a varied menu of pub grub.- Google
"The black bean burger and sweet potato fries were quite good and a decent value."

We went on a night when it was packed with people during the holidays and it was impossible to find seats for a group of us. The happy hour prices are great. Otherwise, they have a pretty good selection, and they have other cocktails as well. The food selection is pretty good for bar food, and I've had pretty good experiences with the service.

I enjoyed the ribs here. Well cooked and tasty. I also got the house IPA. It had a pretty high alcohol content but I could have drank it all day long. I went on a Sunday night so it was pretty empty, but I imagine that it gets pretty busy here on weekend.

Great service, good food, just wish they had more beer selections. Some of the ales are quite good, but I'd like to see some boldy flavored brews. Restaurant itself is well decorated, clean, and excellent staff.

Great place for beer and happy hour. They could not figure out how to seat us at any of the open tables so I can not comment on the food.

Stopped in randomly for a beer. Free pretzels but we'd already eaten so didn't try them. The beer was poor. The service was poor. There wasn't much atmosphere. If it hadn't been cold outside we'd have left sooner.

New to visiting DC and looking for some good food and good beer. This is the place!! Tidy and clean. Staff were amazing and frequented the table to chat with us and check on how we were going. Food was really good!! Beer was even better!!!! Went back the next day and had the same great experience.

I am an avid beer drinker and like a variety of types of beer, usually liking most micro brews I try. We tried the Pale Rider, and struggled through it. Then we tried samplers of the rye IPA and the Red, White and Blue and moved on. We finally resorted to a flight to try a variety and find something we liked, but no avail. The food was decent but nothing special - the chicken was good, crab cakes were meh.

I recommend against this place. I'll open by saying that after I paid and was finishing my beer a mouse ran under the pedestal of my table. The waiter's reaction makes me think this was not the first time that's happened. I wasn't planning on coming back, but that clinched it. I had the club sandwich, which was fine. The mild ale and porter were both middle-of-the road and the porter seemed forced carbonated -- not a desirable trait in porters for non-beer-snobs that are reading. The service was sub-par and a little slow even though it wasn't busy - I did get complimentary pretzels with horseradish sauce before my meal came though. Again I won't be going back and I'm sure you'll find something better in DC.
