Extension Update - goo.gl/4werF
Version 2.6.2

This is mostly a bugfix release, as some recent changes to Google+ have partly broken the extension. In particular:

- More posts are now appearing again when you reach the end of the page on the Favorites Stream
- Post attachments like photos, links or videos are now showing up again in the Favorites Stream (might still have minor issues which will be fixed during the weekend)

A huge thanks to +Ralf Haring for notifying me of these issues so that I could resolve them as fast as possible!

Finally, a small note regarding future updates: since this extension is a one-man project and I'm currently quite busy with university, entirely new features (i.e. “not-bugfix-releases”) will take a very long time, but they will come eventually.
The next ‘big thing’ that is planned is to provide a tagging system so that you can create your own categories of favorites (e.g. “Cat Pictures” or “Science Articles”), so stay tuned for further updates!

Extension Updategoo.gl/4werF
Version 2.6

Google+ just launched embedded posts all across the web - and +Favorite Posts will be right there when you need them, too!

An update to the extension is currently rolling out which will allow you to star embedded posts just like regular posts on Google+, Gmail or in your Notifications.

Important: due to the new URL of embedded posts, an additional permission for apis.google.com is required. Should the extension disappear, make sure to check your Chrome's menu button to re-enable it. Of course your existing favorites won't be affected by that.
So excited for this launch. Several big features here:

1) Now you can sign in with Google+ to wordpress
2) Content created while signed in with your Google+ account to wordpress (and others) allows Google to know who created that content and gives Google the ability to give attribution to the author
3) Content created on wordpress can automatically be published to Google+
4) You can now take any public post on Google+ and embed it into any website across the web to have one conversation about the content.

If you're not seeing star buttons and the Favorites menu on the "Home" page of Google+, don't panic! A fix for this issue is already rolling out and will reach you momentarily.

Thanks to +Ralf Haring for notifying me of the issue!

Small Extension Update - goo.gl/4werF
Version 2.5.1

Hi everyone! Even though I'm still swamped with university related work, I've just pushed a small bugfix update to the extension. The only noticeable change is that comments won't jump around anymore when hovering them. Enjoy!

Extension Update - goo.gl/4werF
Version 2.5

Here's the second (and final) batch of updates regarding the major Google+ redesign rolled out during #io13 . The changes revolve mostly around the extension page itself (the "Favorites" stream) and include:

- Posts are now bigger & using the new card layout
- The filter/menu bar on top of the page has been redesigned to match the circle selector layout in your main stream (Settings are accessible under "More", +1'd content can be seen using the "+1's" Filter -- of course only if you've explicitly enabled tracking of +1s in the extension settings)
- Some bugfixes regarding the responsive behavior of the menu bar during scrolling and resizing the window

You can see a before/after comparison in the attached gallery. As always, the update will be rolled out to you automatically in the next few hours. Enjoy!

Extension Update - goo.gl/4werF
Version 2.4

This update contains the first batch of fixes for the new Google+ design rolled out during #io13 . The extension buttons below posts now have the same beautiful look as the originals. The sidebar menu item has been upgraded to match the other items. Furthermore many improvements in terms of responsiveness of the filter bar on top of the favorites stream have been made.

The extension page itself still has the "classic" look, but will be upgraded shortly in a second update.

The worst offenders are taken care of :)

Still quite a bit left to do, though. The first update (containing all visual fixes for the stream and sidebar) will probably roll out tomorrow or Saturday. An improved extension page with posts in the new card layout will follow shortly thereafter!

Good news everyone! The Favorite Posts extension is actually doing pretty well with the new Google+ redesign.

Nothing seems to be completely broken, you can still star posts and access them through the favorites menu in the sidebar.

Granted, the buttons do not completely fit into the new look and feel (which is amazing!), but I'll promise you this will be fixed over the course of the next few days. I'll keep you updated :)
