Best service ever. Quick, friendly, efficient' and fun. Guinness poured perfectly and tasted perfect. Had the Shepard's Pie and it was wonderful. Wasn't dry as another poster mentioned. Went the day after St. Patrick's Day at mid-day and the place was busy, but not crowded. Was able to get a bar seat and was quickly greeted with a menu and a beer reccommendation. You will love this place.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was first rate...the irish sausage in the irish breakfast was the best I have ever had.

I can't get enough of this place. I get the same thing everytime, the bbq chicken and waffles. The irish coffee is so delicious. Once a week type place. Have your wallet ready though. Oh and the head chef, Matt Murphy, reigned victorious on the Food Network hit series "chopped."

Absolutely amazing food by Chef Matt Murphy. When you walk in from the front entrance, you run into the bar. Unlike most bars in New Orleans; this bar is clean, family friendly and melancholy. Its like you're walking into a simpler time where people were more trusting, food was better prepared, and life was more than perfect. Try sitting at a table outside or closer to the street car line . You can feel the Irish culture and history come alive every minute you sit down and enjoy a juicy rack of lamb. That or have a pint from the bar with some friends. Real glasses for pints; and dem Saints fans here! WHO DAT?!?!

Very slow service when they were at less than 50% capacity on a Saturday night. Shepherd's pie was bland. Their tartar sauce was good.

Been three times. Irish coffee is always a good start. I simply enjoy the atmosphere, easy parking, and food. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.

Had lunch there. The service was very slow to take our orders and the food was good, but nothing special. The shepherd's pie was too dry - not completely dried out, but too dry. I expect the beef used was just too lean and no real sign of gravy, but it had a good flavor. When you use really lean meat (my wife uses bison sometimes) for shepherd's pie, you have to mix in some other less lean meat otherwise it will dry up like this. My wife said her soup was good. I'm willing to give it another try.
