Geez Louise....nothing in real life should be as stressful or complicated as The Bread Game. Thankfully, Cute Kitty cats provided sweet relief from that stressed-out exploding gamer guy!

The election of the President of the United States will always boil down to a FPTP contest unless the Constitution is amended to use an alternative voting system (condorcet, ranked, whatever).  A National Popular/Majority Vote (essentially what CGP Grey suggested) would only shift focus from regions to demographics and further strengthen the two-party system (22% is a lot less than 33.3%).  It's far easier to change individual state elections than to change a national election.  Campaign in your state to stop winner-take-all contests and to utilize a voting system other than plurality/majority voting.

I agree. The Electoral College system has failed to equally represent the broad spectrum of citizen/voter diversity in our country.

Installing cabinet handles sounds like an easy task, but getting the exact placement on each door can be maddening. Make this simple jig to get the hole placement right every time.

My wife was 16 when we we started dating (and I was 23).  Whatever age-related issues we've had, they've been nothing compared to typical relationship stuff.

If the video depicts "typical", society is in deep dewdew. Being an outlier is much preferred.

It's worth noting that this is actually a binary version of Range/Score Voting.  Instead of using a scale from 1-10 or 1-100, the scale is 0-1.

First off, their signature Whiskey Cake is delicious. If you try nothing else then definitely try that. I wasn't impressed though, with their other food offerings. My wife got the ramen which was good, but for the price it wasn't any better than ramen you'd get from an Asian restaurant. I got the portabella melt and it was pretty disappointing. It was like 2/3rds bread and at first it didn't look like there was a mushroom in it. The meal came with kettle chips, which I normally like, but these were insanely salty. They were also flat and sort of tough, not puffed up and extra crunchy like a "Dirty" potato chip. They wouldn't do substitutes either. You're paying way too much for the atmosphere and the fact that everything is free-range, farm fresh, homegrown, and conflict-free. The staff is also very long-winded when it comes to their descriptions of the food.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy their food and I've never been treated poorly by any employee, but they have no sense of expediency whatsoever. I've never gone to their drive thru and been served my food in less than 5 minutes, even if nobody is in front of me. If there is any kind of line then be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes. I also recommend using the outer lane if you do dare to go here. Use the inner lane and they'll promptly take your money and have you wait another 10 minutes to get your food. This last time they asked me to wait at the intercom and nobody else was in the other lane. I waited about 90 seconds, with no response, then left to McDonald's across the street. I don't care for McDonald's food as much but rarely do they take longer than 3 minutes to serve me my food.

My wife and I ordered the sandwich, spring rolls, and flank steak soup. The sandwich was very good and the spring rolls were okay, but I'm not exactly a fan of spring rolls anyway. Some of the shrimp in the spring rolls still had the shell on so that was annoying. The worst part was the soup that we took "to go". Apparently that means you take home the ingredients and cook it yourself. Well, this wasn't told to us and if the steak wasn't dripping with blood we might've accidentally eaten it. I don't have a problem with such an arrangement but we were on a trip and had no way to cook the soup. Even so there weren't any instructions on how to prepare it so we still probably would've done it wrong.

Not the best B&B I've been to but not the worst. Felt less "homey" than a typical B&B, with very modern counters and fixtures. Some art and decoration choices were also questionable for any abode. Breakfast was a little disappointing with pretty much 2 things on the "menu". Everything tasted great though. Directions were horrible! We arrived after dark and drove up and down the street, technically in front of the place, for about 20 minutes. They had a sign by the road, but there was no parking by the sign and no directions on how to get to the back. In room climate control would've been nice but we didn't have any complaints about the temperature. Overall it was nice, worth the price, but my wife and I prefer slightly more rustic accommodations. Maybe that's cliche but that's how we feel.

As far as car buying experiences go, which is consistently the worst experience of my life, it was "good". I've dealt with much pushier salesmen and sleazier managers in the past. Every person I interacted with was courteous if not professional. The deal I got on my car was fair but you might want to bring a calculator. I'll be nice and assume some of them are really bad at math, rather than the alternative that someone was trying to con me. I've also dealt with their service department, which I feel deserves a similar rating. The job was fairly quick and the service rep didn't just sound like he was trying to squeeze more money out of me. I think he could've made a better effort to contact me when my service was done though. He thought I was in the waiting area when I was actually browsing the lot so I didn't get a call.

I randomly stopped here, on my way to a different Asian restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all. They had typical Americanized dishes but a good deal of more authentic ones. My wife had udon and I had general chicken. Neither of us had complaints. There was also a good deal of customers coming in while we ate. I don't think they could attract that many people in such a small window if they were as bad as other reviewers have said.
