Helping small business owners grow their online presence is what we enjoy most at Studio Barn Creative. This lovely lady is an accomplished Bookkeeper and certified Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor. We helped her move away from a do it yourself website builder that didn't work for her and customer's couldn't find, to a mobile-ready website that she and her business can be proud of. You can view their new website here: https://buff.ly/2pnDunG . Interested in this small business's story? Check it out here https://buff.ly/2DeMqG5

It has been an absolute honor to work with such an incredible lady (she was a former professional dancer with the New York City Ballet and one of the nicest women we've ever met) and her team as we designed and developed her new website for Dance Conservatory of Charleston. https://danceconservatorychs.com

⏰ Why schedule your posts? If you've ever been scrolling through your feed and you see 10 images from the same person/business that you follow, it feels out of place. It may even result in the dreaded "un-follow". A more organic choice would be to schedule your posts to be spaced out over the day or the next several days. This gives your followers a more pleasant experience. Posts can be scheduled using a service like Buffer, or you can set a calendar for yourself to manually update at a certain time each day (one image at a time). If you're using Facebook, you can schedule directly in the Facebook App. Happy Posting! 📅 #wearesmallbusiness #entrepreneurlife #startup #mysmallbusiness #smallbusiness #startup #summerville #charleston #ladyboss #girlboss #goodtoknow

Just a little "good to know" info 😎:

As a small business owner, there may come a time when you'll need to know the difference between a JPG image and a PNG image.

In simplest terms ✔️, PNG images have the ability to have a transparent background. This type of image is a great choice when you need to layer content. Think of a logo in a magazine advertisement. It is placed over the main image allowing parts of that image to show through the logo. PNG create the effect of a cut-out image.

JPG images do not have the ability to have a transparent background. That same logo referenced above, if saved as a JPG would have a white bounding box (where it was once transparent) making it a solid image. If placed in the same magazine advertisement, it would cover the image directly below it.
