This is the only place I know of where you can order a picture of beer, dinner, and your movie, then go sit down at your chair/table and wait for it to be delivered. You can even order desert and have it delivered half way through the show. Some of you may say "Well, this is possible at the Flicks in Boise" and while I hear 'ya, I'm making a big distinction here: Northern Lights is "behind on the movies" but "ahead on the service/comofort factor." You don't go to to Northern Lights to see the latest cult or indy Film, sip some wine and eat melted Brie and Sun Dried Tomatoes with sliced French Baguette (don't get me wrong here, my wife and I love to hit the Flicks for that exact experience). You go to Northern Lights to see an "old release" that you may have missed a month ago, have some great beer (they have Sockeye Dagger Falls IPA on tap!), a burger, and a bananna sundae all while chilling in a classy theatre with a dinner table in front of you and a wait staff that brings you the food. Now that is unique!! The movies are cheap (only $3) and the food is pretty good quality and also affordable. There is a good selection of liquor and not expensive like you'd expect in a movie theatre.

I like the fact that it is close to home, is inexpensive, has great food and shows fairly current movies. I always have a good time when I attend a movie there.

Movie was very good, seating is very nice, food was excellent and so was the service. Good ale selection. I recommend for a fun evening out. Not to expensive either.

Love this theatre. The meals are reasonably priced and the movies are cheap in themselves. The Tuesday date night is the best (2 dinners with 2 soft drinks and 2 seats for $22.00)

I can't believe I haven't been going here! Good food with affordable pricing..and a movie. Tuesday night date nights are $20 for two people's dinner and movie ticket. Pretty awesome, just remember to park around the back. We didn't and had to walk outside all the way around the mall after the movie was over on a night show

I am an easy going guy. I let stuff go, more times than not when it comes to bad customer service. This is the first occasion I ever felt insulted (by association). This is a great concept on paper and we have been satisfied in the past. I would caution all going forward to keep your receipts if you swipe your card or simply pay with cash. I ordered a pitcher of Pepsi on Friday, June 6th. I asked first if the tender could be split and received an unsympathetic "No." I allowed my card to be swiped for what I was told would be $6.40. I signed for that amount as well. Now this morning, I check my bank balance to find that it was settled for $7.40. Now $1 is not going to break me, plus I have a really cool bank. What I cannot appreciate is the way I was treated by the manager. No empathy at all, in fact he implied that he was overworked in the transition of ownership. His solution was to suggest it was my bank issue and insult the bank I work for. This is not good customer service. It will be a good while before we come back here, if ever.

My wife and I love going to Northern Lights for a date night. The food is great and is always more than we can eat. They bring your desert halfway through the movie and the prices are great!
