Making STEM education a priority at home. Spent a lot of time over the past few years writing about it for GeekDad. Now that my kids are old enough, it's time to walk the walk. We wrote our first 'Hello World' program in Python on the Raspberry Pi. They were so excited about making the computer do what they wanted it to. So much more to come; a WORLD of possibilities.

Earlier this week, my band, The Vitrolum Republic, released a new music video. This video was recorded live at Milwaukee's Riverside Theater, and it was an incredible experience to be on that stage. I am constantly amazed by the Google+ app for iOS. It's really fun to use, and visually clean. But between Facebook and Twitter, I keep forgetting to come back and use the damn service... :\

My open letter to Lego. I'd love to see a rebirth of classic space sets with an eye towards current space exploration -- even models of past and current Mars landers and satellites -- to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.

Also, thank you to everyone who came out to my wife's book release for the 'Circus and the Cyclone'. We had a great time performing music. If you didn't get to make it, head over to Sue's site to order a copy or prints of the book's artwork.
