l give this place one star only so I can write a review. The food was horrible. They don't know the meaning of spicy. Noodles are plain mush. There was a piece of plastic in my food which I suspect is from packaging. How this place has been in business as long as it has is a mystery to me. Everything is way over-priced. Those that give this place five stars must be the owners. I will never go back. I wish I had made the drive to Mamansan's. Puket Thai could use a few lessons from them.

Food is great. Have been here 20+ times. Will go 20+ more times. One of my favorite places in the Rochester area, and probably my favorite for Asian cuisine. Fair prices and quality food. Service can be a touch on the slow side, but if you are prepared for it, no big deal. I've read other reviews and I assure you they don't use Italian dressing as dip for rolls. I've been there enough times to know that any of these other negative reviews are isolated incidences - not the norm.

I actually love this restaurant. They have the best Thai in Rochester, at least in my opinion. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 stars is that the service is usually very slow. But the food is fresh, flavorful, and if you go for a lunch special you REALLY get your money's worth. Regardless, the portions are always generous and I never go home hungry. I've been about a dozen times and will always come back.

Went there for dinner last night. Place was not too crowded and only one waitress. Ordered fresh spring rolls and recieved italian dressing as the dip. I dont know where they came up with this as I have NEVER had italian dressing as a dip for asian rolls. It was horrible. I ordered the Pad prikpao as my entree and the most flavorful part of my dish was the celery. When they list something as spicy, i should be able to taste the spice. What they called spicy was a joke. The waitress also forgot my beer, twice. When i got into an asian restaurant, my experience can normally be anticiptaed by if they have chop sticks on the tables or not. This place is very westernised and i had to ask for chop sticks as if I was in the corner Chinese take out.

We went here 1 other time a few months ago- loved the food had a bit of slow service, but it was crowded so we wrote it off. Tonight we went and on arrival were told it was a 20-25 min wait to be seated- it was full but not over crowded. We were seated at 7:02 and we placed our order for appetizers/dinners by 7:15- telling the waiter not to wait on having the entrees wait but to start them right away. I had asked for a diet coke with my meal- the servers brought us a carafe of water. Appetizers took over 20 minutes to arrive. We wanted a veggie roll (egg roll) and a tofu dish (well I didn't but the wife did). We were given spring rolls so we decided to try something new but for me the cilantro killed it and the texture and flavor were terrible. by this time it is 7:50. No sign of the waiter at all. Finally as we are about to give up and head to the bar and leave, I am able to get the bartender's attention and she comes over and I ask for our waiter to come see us. He arrives 5 mins later. I ask him what is taking so long as it is now over an hour since the order was placed- his reply is "we were very busy earlier and were backed up" Really Jack? There were 5 tables left with people! A table in our area had been set for more customers and they broke the table down again as no on else was coming in! There was NO reason for this long wait- except we told them we had a Groupon at the beginning of the process. We gave them another 5 mins- and 30 seconds before we were going to get up my wife's meal arrives- tasted good, my meal took another 4 mins to show up at the table. My wife's a vegetarian and she discovers chicken in the dish that the waitress tries to pass off as "eggs" really- then has the balls to argue over it. Eggs don't shred apart like meat dumba$$. Finally dumba$$ offers to remove it from the bill. I get a box for the remainder of my food and we cash out after waiting for another 5 mins for the check to be adjusted/brought to us. I paid for the food regularly (no Groupon use - it was a 2 use Groupon purchase). I am going to email them on this for a credit as I will NEVER go back there again nor will I recommend them.

Last night's service was a nightmare! The restaurant was crowded and the staff couldn't seem to keep track of the orders or the tables. Orders for the party seated after us were taken first and we had to flag down a waiter to place ours. It took 1/2 hour for my companion to receive his meal. Mine never came and no one even noticed until I brought it to their attention. I ended up canceling my order because by the time it was on anyone's radar, my companion had finished his meal. While he was paying, our (very young and inexperienced) waiter asked if we had enjoyed our meal. It didn't even register that I had never received one! Definitely the last time I'll eat there. There are too many other Thai restaurants in the area with better service.
