When you walk in the hotel's gives you a 5 star feel. However the rooms fall a bit short. One problem is there is no fridge! They have the all so popular mini fridge stocked with goodies (ever heard of a Twix Candy bar costing 3.75?) There is no unlimited WiFi. The two temperatures in the shower were hot and scolding. Very thin walls.

They screwed me over and took my money without my consent. Exact management words " We have your card on file so we will charge whatever is necessary, you wanted a key to the mini bar so it was charged to your account although we didn't tell you exactly, it was free" AS IF I WANTED THAT TO HAPPEN!!!! I have bills to pay, why would I WANT to waste money on that shit. I will never stay at an omni hotel ever again and I will make sure to spread the word. We thought the breakfast was going to be good considering how nice this place was supposed to be.....$50 for two mimosas and some cheap meal?? The meal seriously tasted like food from a cold and old buffet line, we should have just went to Ihop, I am not exaggerating about the taste and quality...terrible! Save your money and go else where for food. Also, know that the workers are trained to be secretive about cost. When I called to understand how that fridge (minibar) in the room worked and if there was a cost? The manager at the front desk on night shift on the weekend told me the key for the mini bar came with the room and just come up to get the key if I didn't receive it. He made us all come to an understanding it came with the room "free".....but the next day a $206 charge proved to be wrong. Why didn't he mention to me as a courtesy there was a charge for it? They refunded half but I feel like the situation was unacceptable and i should have received my money back, but of course the staff that night lied about what he told me to save his own ass. He told me it was complimentary and came with our room. If you do make the bad decision to stay here do not use their mini bar or eat there. They had the cheapest shit in that fridge jacked up to ridiculous prices..the true value of that fridge is $50. The room did look nice style wise with the bed decor, but the quality was just the same as any other hotel, nothing special at all. They also charged me an extra $8 fee for my dog when I was told it was only a flat $50 deposit....if the charge was together why was it charged separate? that makes sense, another way to squeeze more money out your pockets. Oh if you want to use WiFi get ready to pay $10 a day.

Need more space, would not allow a cot in room, saying it would be a fire hazard. Outdated as well....

I absolutely LOVED staying at this hotel. I went down to San Antonio for my birthday last year and at the last minute decided to stay for the night. I was hesitant about spending so much on a room but I was so pleased with the whole experience and now I am an Omni convert! The room was spacious and comfortable, I LOVED the comforter and linens! I am a stickler about clean linens that don't feel like thin layers of foam or smell like cigarettes, so I love that sleeping here felt like sleeping in my own bed. It is a little ways away from Downtown, but it is only a quick can ride away and well worth it!

The accomdations are excellent as most Omni's. Clean, comfortable and reasonable rates. Convenient location with access to everything. Older hotel but very well kept. Double queen rooms are a bit tight. Great indoor outdoor pool. Best gym area that I've seen in a while. Stayed a week. Management here runs this place like a ship.

The Omni in San Antonio is an extremely reliable hotel with fantastic service. Not only was my room clean and well maintained, but the complimentary drinks and cookies added a nice touch to the stay. In addition, when I left my laptop charger in the room, the Omni had immediately found the charger and shipped it back to me within 3 days. I will definitely be staying at the Omni some time again soon.
