Nutrition Guru Finds Peace in The Heartland
Introduction
My humble beginnings started in Portland, Oregon  where I was born, and developed a love for nature, respect for community, and a passion for health education.  I have always been a seeker of great knowledge.  As a small to larger and larger child, I spent time playing basketball with friends, reading books on landscaping and garden design, and throwing chestnuts off of my garage at the feet of innocent pedestrians with my friend Allen.  We both went to an art school where we went on amazing field trips around Portland, practiced yoga, and created sophisticated marble runs.  The school encouraged everyone to follow their creative bliss (Joseph Campbell reference), and to learn and write about topics we were curious about.

It wasn't easy growing up spending most of the time doing the things I love doing-- oh, no wait, it was quite pleasant.  But now I am all "grown up,"  and work full-time as a writer for a unique university in the Midwest.  An efficacious method for self-discovery called Transcendental Meditation is the heart of this university.

Many celebrities and high society folks are making the sensible decision to learn Transcendental Meditation,  most people just call it T-M.  The university I work for also provides organic vegetarian meals, has a major focus on natural health, and being authentic in self-expression.
