Someone please help me, I bought a Baofeng radio and I am lost as to how to use it. I have looked all over the place for answers and no one has been able to help.

I passed my technician exam in April, my father is a ham for many years and I have a background on electronics so it was pretty easy. http://hamexam.org/ is a great site for studying. Just take your time and research what you don't understand and you will be fine. Start simple. http://www.repeaterbook.com is a great site for searching for local open repeaters. Good luck!

Hello my name is Sebastian, I'm 16, and I want to start coding, so I'm starting with C++

Alex Schmid: Good for you! Welcome to the world of programmers, friend. :) Lemme tell ya a little secret: no one can agree on which is the best language to begin with, so mid you find C++ grueling, try something else. I started with python (which I recommend to you for being easy to set up, having clear syntax, built-in modules which make many tasks, like connecting to an email account, much easier) when I was 12 or 13, that it still my favorite programming language to date. But hey! If C++ works for ya, then great!

Ian Edmonds (EdShift): If you're truly just starting out and you've never written any code at all I'd suggest a higher level language to start with. C++ is a great language with loads of great libraries and it has great OOP features but it's still quite a low level language. Expect to have to deal with pointers and fairly manual memory management. C# or Java just abstracts all that pain away leaving you to concentrate on writing readable, well structured code. If you really want to get down the metal go learn some assembly language too. Just my opinion. Good luck in whatever you choose and stick with it!

Johnny Woods: Started with C++ as well due to the arduino. Sort of wish i had started with a higher level lang so i was at least used to some of the easier things so i could concentrate on the hard parts
