What is your e-score and where in the queue are you?

Neustar's marketing and risk assessment technology races through available data on callers and places them into a hierarchy. Those at the top are deemed to be more profitable prospects and are quickly funneled to a human operator. Those at the bottom either wait much longer or are dispatched into an outsourced overflow center, where they are handled largely by machines.

Neustar offers a prime example of how seemingly minor internet browsing behaviors on smart phones offer incredible insights into a consumer's background and purchase intent.

Artificial intelligence makes a major breakthrough in medicine.

Researchers have developed an artificial intelligence method than can identify a range of acute neurological illnesses (stroke, hemorrhage and hydrocephalus) in CT scans within a few seconds. This is a significant breakthrough in an area of medicine where every second lost is a second closer to severe injury or death.

Artificial Intelligence and x-ray vision? This reminds me of a high performance Super Man/Woman.

This development is touted as a valuable resource that can help elderly people who wish to age in their own homes and live independently, while still being monitored for injuries, falls and critical changes in activity.

Ready for your own personal AI?

Users can "teach" their avatar to speak and sing like them. This will be very valuable for celebrities, musicians, and actors who want to spend more time interacting with fans AND strengthening passionate brand advocacy.

Artificial intelligence is helping to develop flavors tweaked precisely for your age, ethnicity, and gender. Think beer and snacks as unique as your fingerprint, and a future where your food knows more about you.

Waiting for Artificial Intelligence? It is already here and most of us LOVE it.

The virtual assistants Siri and Google Assistant can recognize what you say in natural language and ascertain context and intent based on your tone of voice and request history.

Voice recognition technology enables you to speak a sentence in one language and have it translated to the listener's language in real time.

Recommendation algorithms on Spotify and Amazon make intelligent suggestions of products, books or music based on your behavioral data.

The map apps on your phone like Waze and Google Maps makes route suggestions based on your previous travel patterns and current traffic conditions.

In the near future, Artificial Intelligence will become more woven into everyday activities like calling the salon and scheduling an appointment.

Ticketmaster is betting that Artificial Intelligence will improve experiences for concert goers (and provide a treasure trove of consumer and behavioral data)

Powered by Blink Identity’s platform, a venue can identify people using their facial biometrics without requiring them to stop and stand in front of a lens. This is a significant improvement to many of the consumer-focused facial recognition technology that exists today. Blink Identity claims it can capture people walking past at full speed and can handle more than 60 people each minute. Efficiency at scale is important, especially for high profile concerts.

Admission won’t be the only use of Blink’s technology. Concert goers will be able to buy merchandise and drinks, for example, assuming the user has a valid payment card attached to their Ticketmaster profile. Facial recognition could also be used to regulate access to VIP zones.
