Testimonials:
"eminently fucked up"
"very unsettling and evocative"

I present to you, In the Woods, a role playing game, a sort of setting, a horror game with Referee aids, all in just 40 pages. Rule set is based on Lamentations of the Flame Princess and ought to be easily reverse-engineered. You play as kids and teens, abandoned by your fellow campers and teachers in the wood dark and vast where creatures hungry and vile stalk between the pines. Some of your fellow campers show up later, stranger, violent. it is always night. You might be able to save some of your friends. But you are probably screwed.

what it says below. continuing to think about how to implement monsters in D&D in a very non-D&D way.
more talking about monsters, this time mostly about a method of putting monsters into a game that is very different than the D&D method. Monster as a way of telling things to your players rather than monster as hazard.

talking about talking about monsters in the context of older RPGs.

Hey all. I'm working on transcribing and updating notes from my (really) old planescape campaign in anticipation of running it with 5e.

Here are links to the work so far (I'll just update this as I add stuff).
