I have pull-ups incorporated into my 5x5 as an assistant workout. Sometimes during my pull-up set, I let go of the bar, take a quick breath, then finish the set.

For example, let's say I'm on my second set, and I just hit 8 pull-ups, but struggling with the last 2. I let go of the bar and come to my feet, count to 5 or 10, then finish off the last two.

Is this considered cheating, and would the set stop at what you can do before letting go of the bar? Or, is this totally fine? I welcome your thoughts.
