The Austin go to place to study and sit by the lake. Good luck finding a seat here though, I fele like at night all the seats are taken by students studying. There is a good selection of snacks and drinks to get. Parking can be a nightmare that is for sure. I really really love this place for the Christmas Lights they do every year. It's become a tradition to go here for that. Love it. Great unique Austin place with the Austin vibe.

This is one of the best spots to relax on the side of the lake. I'm not a big coffee person so don't read on if that's what you're looking for. All I can say about the coffee is that it smells great... They have a wide selection of pastries and gelato. They're all pretty decent and fresh, but honestly I don't believe they serve anything here that would necessarily blow your socks off. What I love about Mozart's is the atmosphere. It's very relaxed despite the hectic parking lot where people rush for cramped and limited spots. The spots inside are a little limited due to the popularity of the place, but you can usually always find a spot on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake. There is also a little stage outside for the occasional live musician. One of the best times to come here is at night, particularly during the mild Texas winter. They have lights strung across the trees that shade the patio and it really is a romantic and picturesque place to be when there aren't bugs attacking you during the warmer months. It's a great place to meet with people or to just relax in a spot just outside of the frantic city.

the light show was super fun!! took the kids, watched them dance, had some amazing and unique chia.... and did not have to suffer the cold. Pretty amazing. walking two blocks to park ( I may or may not have left the stroller home..) while carrying a baby was not my favorite, not was how crazy packed the place was. but the fun and yummy drinks and awesome ' what did the fox say' light sequence totally outweighed it.

Very overpriced, and the gelatos we had were very bland. The salted caramel didn't taste like either salt or caramel, and the only thing that indicated the gelato I was eating was chocolate was the color. They both had a similar generically sweet bland flavor. This was the first time I have been here, so it's possible the coffee or other desserts are better.

This is always my first recommendation for those visiting austin. I always tell anyone I can to go and watch the sunset at Mozart's. I'm not a fan of the roasted coffee, and I always still reek of it when I leave. Everything is expensive. It isn't the best study spot, especially for people like me who are really easily distracted. BUT, this is one of my favorite spots I've ever been to. I'll come here all the time, just to sit on the deck and look out over the lake. It's absolutely breath taking at sunset, because it sets right behind the hills across the lake. I always love coming here, and in the school year it's my go to spot to do homework (despite there being a ton of distractions) just as an excuse to be out on the water.

Great ambiance. Views of the water. Space to spread out on one of the many outdoor tables. Wonderful coffee. I bought the espresso beans, and they were still tasty ground weeks later.

Really good coffee, amazing patio, and the best christmas light show south of Lake Travis. I don't understand your content policy here. I wrote a full review mr. reviewer of reviews. No offensive or illegal material. Words words words.

Love this place and only wish I was still in school with reasons to go study at a coffeeshop for hours on end! Can't get anything better than wifi right by the water with unlimited iced coffee and delicious desserts. The place has tons of seating so even on a crowded day, if you just wait for a few minutes, one of the many picnic tables will open up. I look forward to checking out their winter light show this season!
