Spring is here (even though it snowed last night) and my Spring mantel is done using vintage tea towels and pansies. I wanted a fast and simple spring mantel, decorated with "thrift" store finds. Come see how you can pull together a very spring mantel with thrift store finds.

I love you hearts and am just tonight starting on making them.  I so have to get going on Valentine's day projects.  Don't you just love those squares!  Your hearts are so pretty!
I have been busy crafting fabric hearts to use in my Valentine's decor.  They are really easy to make.  I learned to make these last year by following a tutorial by Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads. I purchased some of the $...

Thanks Cathy!!  I love making them, and have them here and at the other house.  Love those squares for lots of things.  They make nice napkins, cushion covers, etc.!!  Come back soon!

Hi Kathy,
Just letting you know your oh so pretty picture is being featured at Sunday's Best!
I love little chapels.  They are so charming.  I decided I would try to paint one in acrylics.  I looked through pictures of chapels, and decided to paint one that bears a slight resemblance to one near my home. I found a pic...

I love the trug and the china does look ever so pretty with it.  I also love to add different textures to the table and you did a very good job blending everything together beautifully!
When I recently painted the trug blue, I knew I wanted to use it as a centerpiece in the dining room. That meant I needed to change the china on the table.  I put away the gray and pink, and set the table with blue and white ...
