"Some have called the state policies to make computer science count towards graduation “a decisive step in the right direction.” We disagree.

The American Association of Anatomists recently sat down with NSTA's Executive Director. Read his answers to questions like "What do you see as challenges facing university science professors, especially those teaching a core discipline like anatomy? How can Associations like NSTA and AAA help our members with the realities of these challenges?" http://amasan.informz.net/admin31/content/template.asp?sid=45003&ptid=1375&brandid=3960&uid=884750249&mi=5627757&ps=45003

<<<11,000 kilometers>>> Worth traveling that far for the 2016 ‪#‎STEMforum‬ and Expo? The top Israeli science teachers of the year say yes! Chemistry teacher Orit Mulvidzon and physics teacher Tagisto Ayeli were sponsored by the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. to attend. ‪#‎NSTA‬ staff and leadership swapped stories with them about international science teaching (shout out to retiring president, Carolyn Hayes, and president-elect, David Crowther); we enjoyed viewing the forum through their eyes. Many thanks to Maya Bartal Nir for sharing their highlights with us. Who knew it would be this much fun to play the piano with bananas? Shalom, and please join us next year in Disney World.
