I've never had success making brown rice or other long cooking grains in the pressure cooker. They always stick and burn to the bottom of the cooker. Any advice?

This is where I do my weekly shopping. Good selection of what I need. They have a number of ethnic and health food store type items on their shelves. Although if you're looking for a specific ethnic food i would go to Dundas and Lansdowne instead it's a much bigger store there. And if you are looking for a special diet type ingredient I would try this store first and then check out the Sweet Potato around the corner.

I've been going here for a long time. They get my drink right almost always. Staff are friendly, although quite busy.

This LCBO is on the smaller side, decent selection of wines and liquor. The one at Dundas and Bloor is bigger if you are looking for something specific.

Most of the stuff is overpriced and not worth the money. The only reason I go here is to get specialty vegetarian products I can't get elsewhere in Oakville. If only I didn't have to pay the organic markup for it.

Smaller health food shop, good selection of products. The core products are always there , but it seems the rest of their selection depends on what is on sale from the supplier. On the packaged foods their price is not far off Whole Foods, sometimes better sometimes worse mostly the same, I never buy produce from them so I can't comment there.

The best burgers I have had. Everytime I go to Winnipeg I have to stop here. The coconut based soft serve is amazing as well.

It was a decent Hampton. The hallway was a little noisy but it was a good place to crash.
