I have put George Henry Doyle on my family tree.  He died in l951 Whitchurch, Salop and was the husband of my grandmother, Julie Ann Doyle who died in 1931 at Wem.Salop.  His niece, Nellie Doyle, was adopted by them from Wem Workhouse when she was l3.  Nellie married Sydney George Hubbart in 1925 and had 3 boys, one being Reginald G.Hubbart   He married  Agnes M Madeley 1958, Whitchurch.  Children  - Angela married Peter Todd 1979, Wrekin and Maureen Mary Hubbart B 1968.  Any one out there who would know of my grandmother who lived in Wem from 1900 to 1931 according to Census 1911 and her death certificate 1931.  Should I put any more people on the Tree who could help me    Thankyou.    Joyce Crampton

My my you sure have changed over the years, nicely so might I add.  Last saw you as Balderick ( smelly, boily person!)  Glad you`ve changed that image. Although having said that I must add I LOVED the serie and even have the DVD s. What a talented person you are.  And weren`t you involved with Time Team as well - another of my favourites.  Whatever happened to those interesting programmes I wonder. greetings M, Kant-Radford

We rarely take a step back and look at our grandparents or grandchildren and fully appreciate the lifelong friendship and unique relationship that exists between us. Luke Taylor shared this video with us and we wanted to share it with you. Watch 'Nan,' written and directed by Luke Taylor, and produced by Rosie Jones: http://ancstry.me/1qy9nqL

A photographer superimposed World War I photographs onto photographs of the same modern-day locations in an eerie depiction of the years that have passed.
