This place has so much going on here ! You're surrounded by so many people and more importantly food! There are nice little shops here and there and a couple of nice mini places for food like a vegetarian sushi spot which is pretty good!

This place is very unique, the shops and restaurants gives you a wide selections of goods and food. I would suggest in walking around before you start buying things. It's very easy to get carried away with all the good food here. They have lots of seating here, but once lunch time comes, a swarm of people will be here buying lunch and it gets difficult to get a table.

This place is an organic and fresh food mecca. If you can cook it, bake it, fry it, or just eat it raw, then you'll find it here. I'm sure nearly everyone will find what they need here, and if you don't need it, it's just fun browsing around to take it all in. Amazing place.

An awesome place for foodies. Just walk around to explore the enormous choice of organic top quality food of any kind, from fish to teas from around the world. There also many excellent spots to eat, highly recommended.

Why do i bother when it is very obvious that this place is great?.....because I went and have to join the club. Try the crab club at the fish restaurant. Wow it was at a great price and tasted awesome. I'm going to try to make it at home this summer. Didn't shop at the other shops, but very nice area.

Chelsea Market has a variety of shops, restaurants, and vendors selling food, housewares, and clothing. I really like the gelato (Le Art D'Gelato), the seafood (The Lobster Place), the tacos (Tacos No. 1), and the bakery (Sarabeth's). It gets insanely crowded on the weekends so try to come here on weekdays. Also, there's not much seating so if there's no seats, head to the High Line and eat there. The view is better anyways.

One of my favorite spots during my visit to NYC. Tons of shops, places and eat, and places to take a few goodies home. Also home to many organizations and companies, which is pretty cool. When you need an escape from the freezing cold or the sweltering heat that awaits outside, Chelsea Market is the place to go and get lost in an array of things to see, including some really cool interior designs and much more. Definitely recommended. Don't leave here without trying a meal from somewhere!

Cute indoors market place, with some boutique clothing stores but mostly food stores. You'll find Sarabeth here and there is a soup cafe that serves amazing soup! Definitely worth visiting for the fresh produce, and for some unique items (not cheap however).
