Why do i bother when it is very obvious that this place is great?.....because I went and have to join the club. Try the crab club at the fish restaurant. Wow it was at a great price and tasted awesome. I'm going to try to make it at home this summer. Didn't shop at the other shops, but very nice area.

One of my favorite spots during my visit to NYC. Tons of shops, places and eat, and places to take a few goodies home. Also home to many organizations and companies, which is pretty cool. When you need an escape from the freezing cold or the sweltering heat that awaits outside, Chelsea Market is the place to go and get lost in an array of things to see, including some really cool interior designs and much more. Definitely recommended. Don't leave here without trying a meal from somewhere!

Chelsea Marketplace is my heaven. Whenever people come in from out of town, I always make sure to stop here. It's crammed with eateries, stores and local shops galore. From artisan chocolates to vintage clothing, they have it all. It's a food lover's paradise. All of the products here are fresh and of the highest quality. Professional chefs frequent here for ingredients and supplies... that alone should convince you to stop by here. Even if you don't buy anything (sometimes it can get a bit pricey) it's worth the experience - the sights, the smells and the tastes!

Chelsea Market has a variety of shops, restaurants, and vendors selling food, housewares, and clothing. I really like the gelato (Le Art D'Gelato), the seafood (The Lobster Place), the tacos (Tacos No. 1), and the bakery (Sarabeth's). It gets insanely crowded on the weekends so try to come here on weekdays. Also, there's not much seating so if there's no seats, head to the High Line and eat there. The view is better anyways.

Cute indoors market place, with some boutique clothing stores but mostly food stores. You'll find Sarabeth here and there is a soup cafe that serves amazing soup! Definitely worth visiting for the fresh produce, and for some unique items (not cheap however).

One of my favorite places to visit, especially in the winter when the rest of NYC is freezing! Lots of choices for food here. They have great lobster rolls, a ramen spot and more. I recommend the taco place (Los Tacos no.1 ) for a quick bite. They also have a few places to sit down and have some drinks, which is nice during a cold night. This place is right by the High Line, so its a great location to stop by if you are in the area. There is actually a food market in here, but I haven't been there, I always see tons of vegetables through the window, so I'm guessing they have some fresh stuff in there... I much prefer all the food! :)

Lots of unique small shops and restaurants. There is something here for everyone! We decided to stop by the taco place, and brought the food back to High Line. Great experience overall.
