I've never tasted Turkish food. The day before yesterday, my best friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time. Interesting menu and specific ingredients. I ordered an item named "Imam Bayildi" - it was extremely good. Very pleasant atmosphere and nice drinks. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste something unusual.

I went with 12 friends for my 40th birthday and we had a great time. Fab food and the option of BYO wine was very appealing. Parveen the Manager was extremely helpful in the booking process. Would definitely recommend.

I booked the "Red Room" for my girlfriend's surprise birthday for a large group booking. The staff at the restaurant were fast and extremely friendly, allocated specifically to us. The food was excellent and there was even a belly dancer for our entertainment! Thank you for making it an amazing evening - highly recommended to everyone!

The staff at Adiva were very helpful when I proceeded with the booking for a hen party. They have several semi-private rooms (or private depending on the size of your group) and on the day all went well. Friendly staff, good food, great vibe with the Arabic style decoration and the belly dancer who danced with our hen making the experience even more fun for her.

Distastefully classy. My fellow Londoners that appreciate the finer food in life, please think twice before coming here. For those who like to extravagantly throw money like it grows on trees (technically it does..), then by all means, I genuinely hope you have a lovely meal. To my dismay, this wasn't even on my top 10 list of Lebanese or Turkish restaurant I've come across (which is why I'm absolutely baffled how people have given this place such high ratings). Perhaps we simply ordered the wrong dishes, and we should have tried a wider variety.. but forgive me owners of Adiva when I say, your mixed grill tastes so mediocre, I could probably find better chicken at an east end Chicken and Chip shop. My day job may not be a food critic but it doesn't take a genius to figure out which restaurants value profit over quality. Sadly I believe Adiva is one of them. Reasons why I gave my rating: > Aside from the Drinks and the atmosphere, (which was lovely, I must admit, it had a very cosy feel - especially when it's pouring down with rain outside) and the lamb chops (damn the chops were good) > The chicken wings... Why oh why? I'd like to reiterate how chicken from the chicken and chip shop tastes better. It was just so bland. > Turkish tea was 99p, that's no big deal to be quite honest.. but from the moment MOST Turkish restaurants serve them as a complementary drink, and most don't give sugar packets (I felt like I was drinking English tea). This is just me going down to the nitty gritty and maybe the most inconsequential point I have to make, but I felt like Adiva lacked authenticity as a Lebanese and Turkish restaurant. > There was no Turkish bread.. What? THIS IS A FUNDAMENTAL starter!!! > Being my friends birthday, I asked if they could bring out the cupcake I got her, but apparently there's a "cake charge" to have a dessert from outside (around £5-£10, they didn't seem quite sure), but on the plus side... If you order two more desserts, the charge is free! *insert sarcastic remark*. > I also asked if I could pop out for one second to LITERALLY GO UP THE ROAD (it's less than a minute dash) to pick up her cupcake, but you get a "Late charge".. I was early by the way, so I was confused how that worked out. > The service was... They were quite right to not add service charge, because I would have refused to pay. I get it, it's raining, you're tired, you've been on your feet all day, and an even busier night awaits, but a smile doesn't kill. > Where was this so called live entertainment? > If I wanted hard Basmati rice, I would have gone to Tesco. > The meat was quite tough, but edible so I guess I shouldn't really complain. On the bright side.. They had nice salad. I found it hilariously cheeky that they asked us politely (when booking the table) to be gone within two hours. You may think it's just me, but my friends echoed the same sentiments, and one of them is Turkish...

Took my wife there for her birthday, and we loved it! Were there on a sunday evening, so the atmosphere was a bit quieter (no belly dancing!), but still amazing. Background music was just the right level, but we could still hear each other and the general hubbub round the place. Staff were very helpful, fast and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing, and very reasonalby priced, considering the portion sizes. I'd highly recommend the mixed platter (wifes choice) or the mixed grilled meats, kebabs & sausages that come on a bed of crispy fried bread chunks and tomato sauce. Can't remember what its called, but its bloody delicious! ;-)

We had a wonderful evening here celebrating one of our friend’s birthday on a Friday night at the red room. The food was of an outstanding quality and reasonably priced. The belly-dancing entertainment was amazing and also audience-engaging, which added some extra fun to it :) We brought our own alcohol, which really helped to save a few ££. Great atmosphere with gorgeous Lebanese/Turkish décor and friendly and efficient service. I look forward to coming back here again soon.

Pure class. Opulent ambience. Diamond cuisine. The chicken and meat are really tender and food presentation beautiful. As someone who loves desserts I am delighted to say they have paid attention to this part of the menu. My favourite is the apricots stuffed with cream. Wow :-)
