Since 2004, The Joint has been making mouths water in New Orleans' Bywater neighborhood. Juicy pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, and chaurice sausage are complimented by scrumptious side dishes like macaroni and cheese, potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans.

After reading the reviews my family and I decided to try out some New Orleans BBQ. This was probably one of the best decisions we could have made. The food was delicious! Personally, I ordered the "W Special" with a side of baked beans and it was well worth the $12 (in my opinion). The W Special is comprised of a serving of delicious pulled pork, two scrumptious ribs, a helping of tasty brisket, and toast. After eating the whole thing, I was certainly not hungry for the rest of the evening. If you happen to be in the New Orleans area be sure to give this place a try; I doubt you'll regret it.

My parents bought an entire peanut butter pie from here. I haven't been there myself but after eating the pie I will definitely go there. I'm not a big pie fan, but this pie was delectable. It has a cinnamon graham cracker crust and the right amount of peanut butter. I can't recommend this pie enough!!

I got the brisket, pull pork, with the bake Mac and cheese and it was the best ever. The pull pork was the best I've ever had. The people were really nice. Don't let the outside fool you. I recommend this place to every out of towner.

Lesser known by tourists, the food was amazing at an even better price. The sausage was absolutely to die for. Would highly recommend anyone to take a cab or Uber over (as it is slightly away from the downtown area)

WOW. Did I say WOW? I had their 3-meats and two sides. WOW. It was so good, I didn't get to the end of the meats. If they have it on the menu, have the Sweet Corn Grits as one of the sides. If they'll let you, have it as BOTH sides. And don't forget to go out to use the restroom. Because you will get to see the cooker. It's enormous. Like their food. WOW

Great spot. Awesome staff, ambience and even better BBQ. Do yourself a favor and get the 3 meat combo with two sides and enjoy it outside on the patio.

Awesome brisket and ribs. Lively Nawlins place with eclectic crowd. Service typical of the city hot spots. Popular with locals and tourists. One of my favorites.

Really great BBQ - the sauce makes it. My son and I each had the "W" which is 2 ribs, some brisket and some pulled pork. Awesome! Wish they had some sauce bottled to take back home.
