You certainly feel like you're entering an eatery on the main street of a coastal hot spot when you come to this West 6th restaurant. They offer some of the largest array of oysters here in town, but of course they'll come at a premium. The horseradish and cocktail sauce that they serve along with your oysters on a half shell are some of the best I've tried honestly. The horseradish is one of the most tame I've tasted so it doesn't overwhelm the oyster flavor while the cocktail sauce is one of the tangiest and sweetest ones I've tried, which ironically you should be mindful to not drown out the oysters. I tried both their grilled shrimp on toast and their mussels & clams in white wine & herbs. The shrimp come bunched up on top of a toasted slice of their sourdough bread and their Harissa aioli, which honestly tastes like a slightly spicier Hollandaise sauce, and under a bunch of shaved celery and pea tendrils which excellently gave you a crisp and fresh flavor to contrast with the charred toast and creamy aioli. The mussels and clams were quite enjoyable despite their size awakening you from the coastal dream to the inland reality. Despite the many slices of garlic found in the soup, I didn't find it to be the most garlicky flavored soup. I did enjoy the slight heat of the soup attempted by the few pepper flakes. Overall I would say that this is one of the better seafood joints in town that focuses on atmosphere.

Beautiful bright white interior of marble and chrome. Glass and beautiful art. You know it is going to be a good time with a line of tables looking out from the windows before you even walk in the front door. The first thing you see when you walk in is an open kitchen and raw bar. Even the aquarium is beautiful. A few tips. Parking is super tight. Take what you can find. The out side seating area around the corner is nice but infested with mosquito's near twilight because the wind is blocked. The prices are high as you would expect in any french or raw restaurant. Is it worth stopping by? yes. absolutely. Happy hour rocks ;)

Went there for happy hour, and let's just say that it is still a pricey happy hour! It's only 50 cents off each oyster, but I did enjoy their selection of oysters to choose from. I got our server to pick for us his top 4 oysters (though I specifically requested the kumamoto) and was not disappointed. The martinis were just $5 and on each cocktail we tried was on point. The half off burger plates were very tasty. Don't waste your money and stomach room on the grilled oysters or the bibb salad. Just eat the oysters and drink the booze. :)

Upscale-casual dining, close proximity to West 6th st. Food and cocktails are always excellent. I have never really had to wait for a table. Pretty cool bar area. No complaints. A regular in my rotation for downtown dining.

A quaint little place on West 6th. Good drinks and food. Oyster variety o'plenty. Not the best deals on seafood but it's okay cause it's fresh and oh so tasty. Drinks are also very good. Rum selection here is high end. Also expensive. They have an impressive brunch. The pancakes and the Burger are big crowd pleasers. The jam, butter and salt is a great touch too!

I really enjoyed this place. I had the lobster roll which was served with shoestring fries. It was a bit pricey but I enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was really sweet, she sent us home with some chocolate cookies. They were so tiny and petite but oh so good! With customer service such as that of course I am going to recommend and go back.

Another stop on the ATX burger quest! Good bun:patty ratio. Not too drippy, not too dry. No logistical challenges due to height. Fries...too skinny! /: BUT overall: win!

I recently dined at Clark's Oyster Bar. It was between their lunch and dinner serving time so the menu was very limited. It's already a small menu but it didn't leave us with much. The tartar was good but lacked something. The oysters were fresh and delicious. They had a couple speciality cocktails that were impressive. Particularly their muddled fig & whiskey cocktail. We plan to go back to try some some other menu items.
