Barry's reaction after I gave him the bad news....
Sorry, Barry, I didn't mean to start a hoax. In a reply on the Google Partners community about new Ad labels in Google SERPs, I suggested I liked them in orange and provided a CSS override image showing it in orange. Another poster suggested black (also supplying a black Ad label image). Unfortunately Barry picked this up as news in his weekly roundup and reported that Google are testing these new colours. I can't speak for the black version, but I know for sure the orange was actually fake.

Chrome 56 has arrived. Just got the update now. So the new "not secure" message is now in place for any pages asking for passwords or credit card details to be sent via unsecured http.
If this is about you, you need to fix it.
SSL can be obtained from $0 to $500 or more per annum, depending on provider. Happy to give some tips on this as I have been on HTTPS for the last 2 years already on all of my sites.

Anyone have a "top tip" to share with respect to building backlinks? I mean, this is something we've all been doing for ages but there are as many ways to get links as there are people doing it (and then some).
