BROWNSTONE, A FOUR CORNERS® TAVERN, is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago and it is the third bar established by Four Corners Tavern Group. Brownstone attends to all age groups, we are a neighborhood favorite and family-friendly. The menu consists of superb bar fare including hearty sandwiches, fresh salads, miniwiches and mini tacos and unique specialties. Brownstone strives to provide superb experience and build regular clientele in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. With a great AV system, Brownstone is a great spot to catch a game; in the summer time our large and comfortable sidewalk patio is a favorite hangout spot for families and groups of friends.

This place is under new ownership and thank goodness. The old Brownstone's menu was stale and they were really cutting corners on ingredients (case in point: crumbled chicken bits on the old menu's Southwest Salad). The new Southwest Salad has strips of very tasty chicken. Much better. Cocktail menu looks intriguing, too. Possibly the best part: They don't turn up the TV sound to ear-bleeding levels. It's possible to actually have a conversation. Tried on a couple occasions to get the old Brownstone to turn down the sound and they said they didn't know how. lol

If there was an option for no stars I would use it. Don't get me wrong that food is great, but the service do not get me started. The service has been going downhill for a while now. We have given this place many chances to redeem itself but they are just not cutting it anymore. I mean 30min to get chips salsa and guac, the salsa was missing, and another 10 for our drinks not to mention another 40 for our food which was cold and missing things from the order. not to mention the server's attitude. The manager chris is great but there is no reason for a manager to be bussing and serving tables when you have 9 tables int he whole restaurant.

This bar is a total hidden gem! The food is great and they have some excellent specials. The decor is nice and there's a good vibe here. Our server was very attentive, but didn't hover. If I'm in the area, this would be the place I'd come to have a beer or hang out.

I will definitely be visiting Brownstone again soon. I stopped by for Monday night trivia, which had a great turnout and the teams all had a good attitude. The $5 burger special on Monday included their turkey and veggie burgers. I went with the turkey, which had quite the kick with the southwest sauce. The bar felt pretty laid back and we had a great server. Nothing bad to say about Brownstone!

Great place! Chic decor, great food, broad selection of alcohol, casual atmosphere, quality service and music.

Local spot. Menu is much improved. A touch expensive but convenient.

Very rude bar tenders. Was completed ignored in favor of the NFL draft for a good 10 minutes, even after mentioning that I would like a drink. Heard them muttering curses under their breath the entire time I was sitting at the bar. "F**k making margaritas man!" I wasn't the one who ordered the margarita, some other patron was the focus of the bar tender's ire. Ordered a pretzel, which turned out to be your basic run of the mill frozen pretzel. Neat building ruined by creating a generic sports bar with disgruntled staff.
