So far, we've raised nearly $16,000 through the Live Below The Line USA Challenge!

We've decided all donations will go directly to support our Preschool Nutrition Centers, which give children living in #poverty the best chance of health and educational success as early as possible.

We have until June 30th to raise as much as we can and make the biggest impact on little girls like these. Will you help?

If 180 people can donate just $50 each before the campaign ends in 3 weeks, we'll have enough to fund 3 preschool classrooms for one full year! Who's in? http://bit.ly/1B8jJww

We help prevent stunting and chronic malnutrition so indigenous children in #Guatemala can realize their full potential. By donating to our Live #BelowtheLine Campaign, you can help too. Simply click here now to make a difference: http://bit.ly/1B8jJww

To get even more involved, sign up to participate in the challenge! You'll live on just $1.50/day for food and drink and get a taste of what it's like for those living in extreme #poverty here who can't afford anything but tortillas and salt to fill their stomachs every day.

Poor Curly Sue was hit by a car a few days ago and brought to us by the traffic police in Panajachel. Tossed into the back of a pickup, little Curly came to us shivering and whimpering. Fortunately for Curly, only one hind leg was affected and could be treated immediately the Vet
that works with Mayan Families to augment the quality of life for these street dogs. However, these kinds of incidents are all too common, and while Mayan Families’ Hope for the Animal Program seeks to help all emergency cases, we are in need of emergency funds.

The cost of Curly Sue’s treatment and antibiotics was 45 US dollars something we are still struggling to pay. Please consider a donation to the emergency funds for the Hope for the Animals Program to help animals like Curly Sue in the future! http://bit.ly/1PBSPdH #HopeForAnimals #SaveDogs #Guatemala

Over 500 middle and high school students have graduated from our Reproductive Health & Family Planning course! Did you know that in ‪#‎Guatemala‬, pregnancy is one of the leading reasons why adolescent and teenage girls abandon their studies?

We're doing everything we can to give young women the knowledge and power they need to stay and succeed in school, and thanks to our partnership with WINGS Guatemala, we're one step closer. Read more on our latest blog!

Healthy children have the power to lift themselves and their families out of extreme poverty. They get better grades and have more energy and strength to secure a better future.

That's why every child in each of our Preschool Nutrition Centers receives a daily snack, meal, vitamins and necessary medical care to ensure they are growing up strong.

And that's why so many people have already donated or signed up to live #belowtheline to support our efforts. There's still time - you have until June 30th to participate and join us to take action! Learn more and sign up here: http://bit.ly/1B8jJww
