Effin Awesome, there's a Megabus stop right by our house!  Granted, it only goes to Austin... but that's probably the only route we'd be using.  Who wouldn't want to go to Austin and back on a bus with wi-fi for as low as $2/person/roundtrip (with far in advance purchase)?   http://www.MegaBus.com

Woah, I think I just leveled up on my Google-Fu by reading this.

When you're deep into searching a particular topic, Google can help you search more efficiently by filtering the pages that you have and have not visited.  For example, if you search [best point and shoot cameras] and want to see only pages that you haven't visited yet, select "Not yet visited" on the left side under "Show Search Tools."  Similarly, if you want to see the pages that you have visited, choose "Visited pages" and you'll instantly have a list of every page you've visited so far related to your search term.  This feature is only available if you're signed into your Google account.

I knew about the 12oz marker for beer (hence the slang term: beer cup), but not the others.

Did you know the lines on a solo cup are measurement marks?  I didn't either.

not that most people mark them anyway. They just pour whatever and however much they want.

We're getting a Whole Foods, across the Grand Parkway from HEB.  This can get interesting.

FLIPBOARD IS FINALLY ON ANDROID!  *Nerdgasm*

Flipboard Adds Google+ Integration for iOS and Android Apps Today

This is the first third-party app to have official Google+ integration, and marks the begining of a new period for the "still in beta" social network. Many people prefer to use these magazine style apps to catch up on a variety of networks at once, and now Google+ won't have to be an afterthought.

Now that I've played with it a bit, I'm diggin' it. Still not as good of an experience as on a tablet, but certainly better than Google Currents.

Easily the most expensive meal I would buy for myself. Everything about this place is extraordinarily great, most especially the food. The food is expensive, but it is worth every single penny! The bisque... usually bisque is bland, but here the bisque has so much flavor it's as if you can taste every ingredient. The seafood is well chosen. Just... wow. The chef(s) earn every penny of their paycheck, just absolutely amazing food. I've been to expensive places where I've left unimpressed - this place left me very impressed!

The food is amazing, service could be better. However, it seems they are constantly very busy. Personally, I feel the tables are too close together and as a result the ambient noise is louder than it should be for a restaurant in this price range. All this seems to strain service into being much slower than it could otherwise be. However, the food makes up for it. The portion sizes are good and the quality is great!

Absolutely amazing burritos! Go build your own, and I recommend getting it on cayenne. Their wraps are fresh... the food is fresh and the sauces are flavorful. Also, parking is great even if it can be tricky to get to from 59.

Goode Company is either you love it or you hate it. My northern palette finds their food absolutely amazing but my native Texan friends tend to disagree. If you do go want food from Goode Company, I advise either going during the winter or ordering out as they are open-air and have insufficient air conditioning for the hot Houston summer if you wanted to take a client out to lunch. Also, be mindful that food is served cafeteria style, which can be less than appealing to business clients. A few of my favorites: Beef Brisket, the spicy beans and the Jalapeno bread (with a healthy helping of butter to negate the spiciness)

Even a person like me who doesn't like sushi loves this place! If fish totally isn't your thing, then you can get their lobster macaroni and cheese. Their Japanese Lunchbox is also good if you're willing to go with some high-quality raw fish. Just be warned that this place is a bit pricey, but it is a great place to hold business meetings.

Parking is difficult, but the friendly service makes up for it. The food will likely not win an awards in the Houston area given how many authentic Mexican places there are around here, but I find their homemade tortilla chips and queso to be an amazing combination. I occasionally stop by to bring that home as a snack - it's that good!

This is certainly one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Houston area. The food is cooked from scratch, not frozen bulk food. I'm never ordered anything I didn't turn out to like from the menu. My personal suggestion, get some of the sriracha sauce and that will add some interesting spice to your meal. For those who can deal with more spiciness, you can ask for them to make it extra spicy. Don't be intimidated by the parking situation, parking is free even in the garage though there is an optional valet service.
