I grew up on Martha's Vineyard and while I hate to give away my favorite spot, there is nowhere on this island I would rather eat on any given day. The crepes are to die for, but so is everything else on the menu, the worst part about this place is having to pick just one item on the menu!

We love this diner for breakfast. (Have never had lunch or dinner there.) Portions are generous. Once I got the tofu scramble which was delicious. Latest meal was an omelet with spinach, onions, and cheddar. It was good. But the huge side of home fries was a little soggy, as was my grilled english, which needed more butter. My daughter got a huge stack of blueberry pancakes that looked awesome and my other daughter got a scone which looked perfectly warmed and crisped. I had a bite and thought it was really good. I gasped just slightly when I got the check and it was $41 and realized the home fries the girls got as sides added up (they could have split mine!), and we were charged $2.95 for three coffees, so that added too. The service was excellent. The servers were friendly and efficient. It's fun to hear the different accents of people from other countries who come to the island to work for the summer, not just at Art Cliff, but also at other restaurants and shops. Atmosphere is cozy. We will definitely come here again.

A few wonderful vegan options, a bit pricey for a bit of tofu and cup of spinach though but so nice to be able to go out for breakfast with friends.

I live here on MV, and Art Cliff is one of our most beloved treasures. If we have off-island guests visiting, not bringing our guests here cannot even be considered. The dining room is always a beehive of happy diners and neighborly hellos. Gina is a genius, and the Art Cliff rules.
