This is woo woo and new agey but assuming you have the capacity to take the good from the bad, this is really interesting.

Hey Friends:

Would love your help. Given we're not talking directly to the consumer in this project and we're covering the "dirty" word, retirement, I was hoping I could do a little guerilla research and ask you guys & gals some questions. Would love whatever help you can give me:

1) What are the most important criteria you consider when choosing a
financial/retirement advisor?

2) What’s your biggest concerns regarding retirement?

3) What do you most look forward to in retirement?

4) What’s the one thing you’d like answers to that you feel your
advisor/firm isn’t helping you with?

5) On a scale of 1-5 (from Not worried at all to Very Worried), how do
you feel about retiring in the future?

6) What’s your immediate concerns about retiring?

7) Do you feel like you need specific on-going retirement planning and
choices because you may choose to take a non-traditional approach to
retirement such as phased approach where you work part time for a
while or a cyclic approach where you work for a bit then take some
time off, etc? How would you like to work with your advisor if you are
taking a non-traditional approach?

8) If you are a female, do you feel that your needs are being met in
the retirement marketplace? Why or why not? What could be done that
would be helpful to you? [JH:] As a woman, do you have concerns or
questions about retirement that you feel are different than the
concerns or questions men might have?

Thanks in advance!
