When I went here in 1970, it was the best school in Dallas. The teachers and staff were great. I took Drivers Education here and my driving instructor was a DOLL! I had a fantastic time going here.

You get in what you put in. Prepared me well for an engineering degree at a respectable school.

As a 2008 graduate, I can honestly say I enjoyed attending Lake Highlands. It gave me many of the friends I know, and still see today. An all around safe place to learn, I was active in football, choir, theater, and a number of events. The principle, Bob Iden was an open minded, and supportive guy, who welcomed a teaching staff full of variety, personality and valuable opinions. The student body was a talented bunch, and drew from a diverse range of backgrounds, providing excellent preparation for the real world. I might not have known it at the time, because I was a moody, distracted teenager, but LH was an integral part of my success as an adult. Thank you LH, and best wishes to students and faculty of past, present and future. Go Wildcats!
