In continuing with my blog series thats aim is to help other photographers better understand their social media options, I am happy to announce the GOOGLE+ edition. Here you will find in-depth information on Google+, how it works, the benefts to SEO, why photographers should think about joining the network and offer some tips and tricks for those joining the network.

Second shot from the new series. Changing the editing up, still working on changing Poseidon for now, but this is the new directions.

Starting to edit a 5 photo story, I am using the 5 photo version as a test for a larger more involved series centering around this style/feel. Love to have anyone's feedback on it :) Working on editing the other 3 and will put them in order later.

This is the update on my Gods Series so far. The series touches on the idea that retirement is getting harder and harder for people. The Greek Gods and Goddesses were never able to "retire" and are now working mundane jobs that pertain to their responsibilities as a deity.

Here is the first edit to a new series I am starting. My idea behind it is that I wanted to touch on the fact that retirement (while still a pretty new institution) is slowly going away for many people today. I am going to show Greek Gods and Goddesses who, after their religion died off, have had to take jobs in modern times that are also "dead end" with no real offer of retirement, or that is a "dying" profession. The first one is Poseidon, God of the seas, working in a Fish Store. They will all be diptychs like this with one of the character working and one behind the counter or register. (Screen grabs for now until they are done.)

This is my final edit/ordering for my 5 photo essay story. I am going for a steampunky kind of thing, I was using this as yes a 5 photo story, but also a test to see how toning/editing and costuming and props played off each other to see if I would continue this with a larger series.

...don't know about the car wash, looks like a dump...my car broke down on the highway and this was the first place I could pull into, left a note in the window and before my tow could get there he had someone else tow it...the owner is just a jerk off, don't support someone like this, he needs some karma

So I don't make many reviews (think I am going to start after this) and these guys were so awesome they warranted me make this, even made one on yelp for them too they are so good! We brought our car in for an overheating issue, they took great care of us and found a ton of problems that were going to translate into even more devastating problems if they weren't addressed. They found transmission issues, and the overheating hadn't been fixed so I was worried, but when we told them about it they did EVERYTHING they could to correct it, even ended up giving us a huge $600+ Discount on the work because of it. All in all it was expensive, but they saved us money because they rebuild and fix the actual parts at fault instead of replacing whole components that end up costing an arm and a leg. They did everything they could to help us keep costs down and I don't think I can stress enough how awesome all the guys there were. They even let me watch as they worked on it and explained everything happening. (I had taken it to another garage before for the same issue and they just did a radiator flush, charged me $350 and told me everything was fine...only to have it break down a couple weeks later...probably would have saved us even more bringing it here first instead....hindsight) After all that we ended up having our control arm also go out...and we took it back to these guys because they were so great last time. They took care of it super quick and again keeping our prices down so well! Our car was a 2007 with 180,000 miles on it, now thanks to these fine gentlemen I will be looking forward to another 100,000. We love our car and I don't think I will ever take it anywhere else, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Bottom line: Fantastic work, great prices and by far the BEST customer service I have ever had with a garage. Why go anywhere else?
