Comfortable, clean hotel in a great location. The room (king size) was spacious and well maintained. We did hear a bit of noise from the street, but it wasn't a big deal. The free wine bar was a nice treat. The staff was courteous. And we were close to the Mall, Capitol, and other attractions. Sign up for the Kimpton loyalty program to get free wifi during your stay.

So wonderful and unique! We were there for our honeymoon and the management gifted us with chilled champagne in our room. It was a bit of a hike to get to our room, but other than that, it was awesome. If you have your own refrigerated snacks, ask them for another fridge. I didn't know we could do that and we lost some food because the only fridge was the mini bar fridge.

A hotel with a real difference. The room I had was fantastic - HUGE bed, high ceilings, lovely bathroom and great TV and internet. Highly recommended.

great location in central dc. close to everything and the metro. on thursdays they host a cocktail party that has a featured drink. i did have a problem with a room, this building is the old post office, and they quickly made a change. service was great.
