I have been here for happy hour many times, and it's usually really busy. They have some pretty good specials on food and drinks until 6. Their dinnernmenu is brief but everything I've had recently has been tasty...I would definitely recommend.

Myself (male) and 4 Women had our monthly GNO here 7/31/2012. The food was not great and small portions (but $$$ anyways) The service was poor, slow, things not coming together, hard to call the waiter, ... We reserved for 7 but only 5 showed up because one of us is a quadrapalegic and needs a constant helper and sometimes just cannot make it. We were forced to pay the mandatory 20% tip for 6 or more anyways. The service we received deserved a $10 tip. The prices are so high 20% came to $46. I complained to the manager as was told 'too bad' go to City Steam if you do not like it. When we were all outside in front he came out and called us "F*cking Drunks" because we spent $160 on drinks, which at $14 for a decent glass of wine was 2.25 drinks per person. I will go back, but only to stand out front with this sign: FOOD not worth the PRICE SERVICE not worth the TIP Their Taste of Hartford more like Disgrace of Hartford When I complained the MANAGER called me and the 4 Women I had dinner with “F*CKING DRUNKS” because we spent $160 on drinks, which at $14 per glass of decent wine is about 2¼ drinks per person

Enjoy the environment and the food has always been good but it is priced on the high side for what it is. Service not a attentive and friendly as it should be for the price.

A wonderful dining experience. Our waiter went out of his way to get us out the door in time for our show at the theatre down the street all while having an incredible mean and cocktails.

As most restaurants in Hartford open after 4pm, we were a little cautious walking into the new restaurant at just after 4pm that just opened its door to Hartford less than a month ago. To our surprise we were wonderfully greeted by the manager and given great details on the opening. The atmosphere is beautiful, and all the shapes and colors are effortlessly blended throughout the entire restaurant and bar. The menu offers many different varieties of meats, poultry, seafood the RAW BAR, and appetizers. The DISH Bread is extremely addictive and we got our fix to take home on the house! Drinks, Salad, App, Entree will probably run about $50 a person but for the presentation and precision of each DISH it is well worth it. There were also many specials daily on the menu that I can not wait to go back and try! The restuarant has a prime location on Main just on the end of gorgeous Ann St. So if you can, grab a window seat! Do not forget desert! We were given a wonderful taste of pumpkin maple cheesecake and CHOCOLATE creme brulee! The richest and best I have tasted in Hartford yet! Bravo Dish! I will definitely be back... and if Sunday brunch if offered it will definitely be "Our Spot".

We went there to celebrate my daughter's adoption. We rented a private space and had a lovely meal with excellent service. The private dining manager, Lynn, took care of our party from start to finish. Very impressed with the food, space, and service. Thank you, Dish, for being part of our special day!
