Cyber Security is a critical feature in all the work we do - whether providing a 'traditional' website through to a comprehensive online solution.

We are pleased to announce our accreditation to the government cyber essentials certification - ensuring everything we do have security at heart. This is part of our continued development to ensure we remain the best we can be - and are recognised for the high standards we set ourselves.

If you have any questions about cuber security or how you can secure your website/online solution - don't hesitate to contact us - https://www.jack-enterprises.com/contact-us/.

Continuing our demonstration of talent - our very own Susan has a published essay of Frankenstein that is referenced in schools (some more details below).

Here at Jack Enterprises we look for the talented and creative to join our team so that we can deliver only the very best to our clients.

#talent #softwaredevelopment

'Nearly 20 years ago, I published an essay online about Mary Shelley’s 1816 novel, ‘Frankenstein’. To this day it is referenced in students’ essays and given as the subject for study. I still get excited when I occasionally search its progress online and see it is still being read and discussed.

An American textbook company published it not long after, and I treasure my copy of it. It is thrilling to see my work and my name in print (although my name has changed since then). I remember being interviewed by the local paper and having my photo taken in St. Alphege churchyard!

My argument was that the creature (he was never referred to as a monster in the novel) was the result of poor parenting and rejection by his creator/father Frankenstein. I also suggested that his search for happiness and acceptance followed Maslow’s ‘Hierarchy of Needs’, a theory of human psychological development that wasn’t published until 1943.

Mary Shelley had already experienced the death of 3 children by the time the novel was published and that, together with her unconventional childhood makes the novel even deeper and more interesting to me.'
