Ep 45 : Nice work Sean you got the dice mechanics for the Edge of the Empire mostly right.
The Edge of the Empire dice are great and add tons of flavor to the narrative of the game because you can fail but still have a somewhat positive out come. When you have space travel during EotE I try to have a few different "disadvantage" and "advantage" out comes in my back pocket. Disadvantage: Jump a few clicks off course, galaxy map is out of data, jump into an asteroid field, hyperdrive fails mid jump and so on...if you fail the check the ship just won't turn on. Fail: you spin up the hyperdrive and it shorts the power, fuel cells have been drained, bad motivator or whatever.
Han Solo for having the fastest ship in the galaxy was never the fastest off the line. In fact I would say he often failed his dice rolls but gained enough advantage to boosts Chewies repair skill checks.
