The majestic Bald Eagle soars over his domain & spotting Spider Rock he decides to land. This is Canyon de National Monument home of Navajo Nation Arizona USA & what an awesome view that really made my day. Lots of history like the Ancient Pueblo Peoples burial ground so make sure you get a guide before you look around as this is sacred ground. Spider Rock stands 800 feet in the air & the colors of it & the canyons are even more spectacular when you see it in person there. Happy Monday to all of you & if you can my friends go see this view & may your week be great too.

Horsetail Falls
Yosemite National Park , California

Horsetail Fall, located in Yosemite National Park in California, is a seasonal waterfall that flows in the winter and early spring. The fall occurs on the east side of El Capitan. If Horsetail Fall is flowing in February and the weather conditions are just right, the setting sun illuminates the waterfall, making it glow orange and red. This natural phenomenon is often referred to as the "Firefall", a name that pays homage to the manmade Firefallthat once took place in Yosemite.

This waterfall descends in two streams side by side, the eastern one being the larger but both quite small. The eastern one drops 470 m (1,540 ft), and the western one 480 m (1,570 ft), the highest fully airborne waterfall in Yosemite that runs at some point every year. The waters then gather and descend another 150 m (490 ft) on steep slabs, so the total height of these waterfalls is 620 m (2,030 ft) to 630 m (2,070 ft). The image shown here is taken during a brief time during the winter, near February 21 at sunset, made famous by Galen Rowell's photograph.

The fall is best seen and photographed from a small clearing close to the picnic area on the north road leading out of Yosemite Valley east of El Capitan.

Grotta Palazzese, located in Polignano a Mare in Southern Italy, was built inside a limestone cave that sits 74 feet above the Adriatic Sea back in the 1700s. Now, decades later you can enjoy a world class meal, scenic views, the sea breeze all without the confines of four walls

Down in the Valley
Santa Magdalena, Italy

Santa Magdalena is a small town in the fertile valley of Val di Funes. With the steep Dolomites as its backdrop, the village is a popular photography destination especially at sunset. We climbed a hill behind the village to clear the tree line for this image.
