I found this link from your Craigslist ad, and I can't tell if you were being serious or had tongue firmly planted in cheek. Either way, this is one of the best drum covers of Caravan that I've ever seen. Keep groovin', man.

Liz Ryan really knows her stuff. Looking for a job can be a pain in the butt, and can be fraught with traps and discomfort. But she provides excellent ideas for leveling the playing field so job seekers don't feel like Oliver Twist asking for a second helping of gruel.

I don't normally repost stuff, but this is just too clever not to share.

I also got a pic with the uber-talented bassist Dave LaRue. Dave's played with Steve Morse for...well, a long damned time. And they're a great progressive rock pair.

It was a superlative experience.

Lunch at Per Se in NYC. They baked me GF bread to go with my pate; GF rolls; and they fried up some GF donut holes to go with my cappuccino ice cream. Outstanding service. Worth every penny.

Feelin' grumpy: how crappy is it that Verizon can't give me a strong 4g signal in Times Square, or pretty much anywhere else in NYC? Once my contract is up, I'm headed back to AT&T.

I placed an order for a bouquet on February 13th, and they had it ready on the 14th. I was pleasantly surprised that they agreed to take an order for a Valentine's bouquet the day before the holiday. And even though they were visibly in a crunch, they didn't even flinch at my request. The bouquet itself was beautiful when I picked it up the next morning, and when I delivered it to my wife's office every women who could smell the bouquet (from inside my wife's office, no less) came in to admire it. Jasmine Blue is now my go-to florist for special bouquets.

There are two things I appreciate most about Dr. (James) Grosslieb: First, he has terrific chair-side manner. He's friendly, laid-back and easy to interact with. Second, he doesn't 'upsell' dental services. When I'm faced with a treatment decision, he goes over each option with me, and is always supportive of the choice I make. There is no pressure from him to have a particular type of treatment. This is rare in a dentist these days. There's actually a third thing that I appreciate about the entire office: everyone's very friendly, but it's also run very efficiently. They make excellent use of technology to make sure that patients are notified of upcoming appointments, and they offer a choice of notification methods. In a Web 2.0 world, this is ideal. If you're unhappy with your current dentist, give the Grossliebs a try!
