When I started my journey, I recognized that I needed to own my behaviors. This was difficult, as much of my life, was consumed with "Shame"!! In order to release this, I needed to feel the pain, not resist it, and then release it!! Along with Mindfulness and Meditation, I was then creating Neuroplasticity, changing my brain, by experiencing life in a different way, and enjoying the peace it afforded me. And oh, by the way, a big by product of all this work, is being in control of my negative symptoms of ADHD.

When we Criticize our children, spouse, loved ones, friends, even enemies, that is about US, not THEM!! Please, ponder this as I did, and recognize the damage it is doing to the people we love the most, and especially to ourselves. Remember, the power in our words, they can cause irreversible damage. This pain that we give to others comes from our past, our ego! I can help you release this once you see that it is there. Please, let me know if you need/want my help? Our workbook is almost done, and this is just one of the pieces to the puzzle that will create Neuroplasticity, and a new life for those of you struggling with the executive function deficits related to ADHD!

Miss ADD has been an ADHD coach for over 20 years, helping people embrace their gifts and work with rather than against their ADHD.
Introduction
Justine Ruotolo has been an ADHD/Life Coach for 20 years. A graduate of the Pepperdine University MFT program, her practice is located in Torrance, California, where she also serves on the board of CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD).

After being diagnosed with ADHD at age 40, Justine started working on releasing her past and embracing her own creativity. Through her own struggle she developed self-awareness and was able to regulate her emotions, so much so that she was able to drastically reduce her ADHD medication. Through this work she was able to transform trauma into positive growth.

This personal transformation inspired her to share what she learned so that others may uncover the gifts of ADHD so often buried beneath its stigma and stereotypes. She leads a powerful support group for adults with ADHD in the South Bay of California that started with 4 members and now has roughly 30.

Justine also works with parents of ADHD children including attending school meetings and negotiating accommodations for their children. She also helps children and adolescents with organization, study skills, behavior and time management.

Justine has an intense passion for helping children, adolescents, parents, adults and couples embrace their ADHD and understand the gifts associated with their “Creative Mindset.”

She can be reached at Justine@misadd.com.
