NCLR invites proposals from teachers working within the Affiliate network (community-based organizations and charter high schools) that wish to present a 2-hour workshop at the 2015 LILL on an innovative project or lesson that uses technology to improve student learning. Selected teachers will receive a stipend of $600 for their work. They will also receive hands-on training from NCLR’s LILL facilitator, Dr. Jim Gee, and have the opportunity to present to wider audiences through an NCLR webinar and participation in a Personalized Learning summit.

IAF Grassroots Development Ph.D. Fellowship Program
Introduction
Ph.D. candidates who are currently enrolled at a U.S. university and are citizens of the United States or of an independent country in Latin America or the Caribbean, except Cuba, may apply. Before beginning research funded under the IAF Fellowship, students must have advanced to candidacy for a Ph.D. in the social sciences, physical sciences, technical fields or other disciplines as related to grassroots development issues in Latin America or the Caribbean.
